Our Mission

To preserve, celebrate, and pass on Mbeligi (Bambili) cultural heritage by promoting cultural education, community development, and meaningful engagement across generations, while sharing our traditions and contributing to the cultural diversity and social well-being of the communities in which we live.

Preserving our Culture & Heritage

MBECUDA exists to preserve and promote the cultural heritage of the Bambili people and strengthen connections among people of Bambili heritage in Calgary and across Canada. We create opportunities for children, youth, adults, and the broader community to learn about and participate in Bambili traditions, history, values, arts, language, and cultural practices. Through cultural celebrations, educational activities, community programs, social initiatives, and partnerships, we seek to ensure that Mbeligi heritage continues to thrive across generations while contributing positively to communities in which we live.
